Meet The Team
Blaire and Alexandra are known for their attention to detail, colorful spaces, and juxtaposition of pattern, texture and color which lead to their thoughtfully collected yet approachable spaces. Alexandra worked in the magazine industry for almost half a decade and worked with many of the best designers in the industry, which heavily refined her personal aesthetic to what she defines today as, a fresh take on traditional. Blaire, a Tennessee native with a diverse background in arts and sciences has always had a strong appreciation for timeless design and contemporary arts, which is very much reflected in every project. Together Blaire and Alexandra pride themselves on creating modernly traditional spaces that are uniquely tailored to the aesthetic and desires of their clients.
"It's really hard to find a sofa back table that isn't too deep or not long enough, and this one was just right. It's quickly become one of our go-to's." - Blaire & Alexandra

Welcome Home
Multi-purpose living meets laid-back luxury in this social space designed by Blaire Designs, a full-service boutique interior design firm based in Nashville, TN. Dressed in a sea of blues and greens, tassels, pleats, and natural materials, our Ming II Grasscloth Console grounds the heart of this home with sleek lines and textural grasscloth in a crisp white painted finish.
A Note From Alexandra
“I worked with this particular client on their last home, and for that project they had invested in really high quality furniture, so right off the bat we knew we wanted to reuse a lot of those pieces and just recover them. Their last home had been very formal, and the goal for this project was to create a family friendly space that was more approachable yet still maintained a level of sophistication. We lacquered existing tables and ended up adding in some additional furniture items like the Ming II Grasscloth Console to add texture to the space and to also function for this busy household."
1 Design Tip
"You can never have too many coffee table books. Not only are they beautiful to look at, but they can be great conversational pieces."
